Vintage Goth

Amongst every type of alternative fashion, Gothic culture is something I've always been in awe of. So this week I decided I wanted to to show you one of my favourite gothic inspired looks and this bodycon lace dress embodies everything I love about it.

I found this amazing dress LBD on sale and fell in love with the vintage lace sleeves and how it contrasts with the split along the thigh. These two aspects made my mind up for me and I couldn't wait to feature it on my blog.

The back of the dress is also a show stopper with its gorgeous cut out back. I can't get enough of it! When I thought about what else too wear with this dress I went straight for a gothic lace choker which seems as though it was made to go with this dress and a black oversized hat (also worn in Witching Hour). Wearing all of this together made me feel like I belong in the 1800's and this is somewhere I'd happily stay.

The final touch was a simple pair of block heels with a delicate strap over the top. I chose these as the focus still falls upon the dress but let's face it, boots or a modern heel wouldn't do this outfit any justice.

The best part about this blog post for me was walking over to my local village church and shooting amongst the beautiful gothic architecture. It's such an incredible setting and really fitting for this look.

I hope you like this outfit as much as I do. And if you know of any amazing vintage stores, let me know.
