When it comes to novelty tees, they typically fail to spark my interest. For years now, all I've owned is band shirts, that was until I bought this tee. The words itself "Don't let the bastards grind you down" is one of the few quotes I like it live by and is ironically very fitting at this point in my life. I read this quote and instantly felt inspired and I want all of my readers to feel the same.

The acid wash style of grey gives this crop top a unique edge and consequently makes the white writing and skull even more clear. I love the print as there's nothing like it on the high street. I wore my usual jewellery of a tattoo choker and a small pendant necklace and this time, a fake septum ring.

Whilst looking amongst my wardrobe, I came to the conclusion that only a pair of high waisted shorts and fishnet tights would make this outfit a winner. The shorts emphasise your figure, elongates your legs and keeps your stomach from being on show. In the instance of high waisted jeans or shorts, be careful if like me, you have your belly pierced because the material tends to catch it.

As for the fishnets, I'm struggling to wear anything else at the moment. I also put on my new favourite of chunky suede heels to complete the outfit and of course, add some necessary height.

I hope you like this look and feel as inspired as I do while wearing this outfit. Remember, don't let anyone grind you down!
